The present invention relates to syntax analysis apparatus and method based on statistics, capable of directly controlling a parsing result with respect to a particular sentence or form. The syntax analysis apparatus according to the present invention includes: a morpheme analysis unit for analyzing an inputted original text to output a morpheme analysis result; a syntax analysis unit for syntax-analyzing (parsing) the transmitted result information; and a control rule application unit for applying preprocessing control rule information to the morpheme analysis result information outputted from the morpheme analysis unit, transmitting the result information applied with the pre-processing control rule information to the syntax analysis unit, applying parsing ambiguity control rule information to a particular partial result of the syntax analysis of the syntax analysis unit, and applying post-processing control rule information to whole results of the syntax analysis of the syntax analysis unit, which is applied with the parsing ambiguity control rule information, to output the whole results applied with the post-processing control rule information as a final syntax analysis result. |
