PURPOSE:To provide an improved brake for an electrical car by a combination of mechanical antilock braking and regenerative braking. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator 3 is off, a vehicle speed is fast, a brake 4 is on, and a wheel sliding is small, a high regeneration mode is selected by a motor controller 1. On the other hand, when the sliding is large, a normal regenerative mode is selected. When the sliding is small, the braking force for the wheel can be increased by a brake controller 2 and the braking force by regeneration can also be increased, thus bringing a slippage rate rapidly closer to 0.2. When the sliding is large, the controller 2 reduces the braking force and brings the slippage rate to closer to 0.2. The braking force according to regeneration is smaller than that when the sliding is small and becomes a size which does not prevent the operation of the controller 1. When the accelerator 3 is off, the speed is fast, the brake 4 is off, and the regenerative switch 5 is on, the normal regenerative mode is selected. On the other hand, when the normal regenerative switch 5 is off, an inertia mode is selected. |
