PURPOSE:To decrease the influence of the ruggedness of a data pit pattern surface and to obtain a high S/N by sandwiching an optical recording member which forms pit patterns according to presence or absence of a light shielding pattern between optical recording part forming regions. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording card 1 is a card having an optical recording part 2 and is formed by sticking a card front base material 3 provided with the optical recording part forming region 5 having light transparency and a card rear base material 4 provided with the optical recording part forming region 6 having light transparency to each other. The optical recording member 7 which forms the pit patterns according to the presence or absence of the light shielding pattern is sandwiched between the optical recording part forming region 5 of the card front base material 3 and the optical recording part forming region 6 of the card rear base material 4. The influence of the surface smoothness on the formation of the data pattern is small with the optical recording card, since the reading of the optical recording part is transmission type reading. The S/N is thereby improved. |
