Method and apparatus for fabricating laminates of two sheet-like materials such as textile, nonwovens etc. in a continuous process. The materials are pressed together from rolls with the interposition of a two-component adhesive (two-pack adhesive). No solvent for the components is used, but on the other hand they are applied after having been well blended with a catalyst for the polymerization process. The amount of catalyst chosen is such that the polymerization process starts during the period when the materials remain pressed together. Pressing them together is effected by the materials lying on top of one another being conveyed with the aid of, and between, two conveyor belts which lie against one another under the desired pressure.
