PURPOSE:To rapidly and easily deposite a catalyst for purifying exhaust gas for purifying a waste combustion gas from automobiles by depositing the catalyst for purifying exhaust gas on a ceramic carrier formed on the surface of a metallic substrate by vapor phase method. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst for purifying exhaust gas is deposited on the ceramic carrier formed on the surface of the substrate material by vapor phase method. The ceramic carrier is formed on the surface of the metallic substrate made by winding a thin metallic belt worked into ruggedness. A result, the catalyst for purifying exhaust gas is rapidly and easily deposited on the ceramic carrier layer. And the thickness of the catalyst for purifying exhaust gas is easily adjusted. Furthermore, since the catalytic film is formed by dry method, the working environment is excellent and the problem of waste water treatment does not occur. And the catalytic film for purifying exhaust gas is easily formed even in the case that the ceramic carrier has a complicated shape. |
