The invention relates to an additional hand grip for bags having integral handles allowing the comfortable carrying of one or more bags whilst retaining objects inside these bags. The hand grip 35 is of solid, single-piece nature. Its overall shape is that of a right cylinder along the principal axis 22. The ends 27 and 28 of this cylinder have a concave shape in order to form guides to facilitate the insertion of plastic bag handles. The internal right cylinder 26 ensures the retention of the bag handles. The housings 20 and 21 are each intended to receive a coin or a token. The hand grip is particularly intended for carrying plastic bags dispensed by shopkeepers. <IMAGE>
