PURPOSE:To detect a fault such as the runaway of software in real time by noticing data and an address having a high frequency to detect the fault at the time of the occurrence of the fault of software. CONSTITUTION:When a processor 1 fetches an instruction from a memory, a signal indicating the instruction fetch is supplied to an instruction detecting means 3, and the instruction fetch is discriminated to generate the detection output, and a data comparing means 4 is driven to the active state. When the data comparing means 4 is driven, data (instruction code) generated on a data bus 2a following the instruction supplied to the instruction detecting means 3 is taken in and is compared with the code set to an error code setting means 5. When coincidence is detected as the result of this comparison, the error detection output is generated and is supplied to the processor 1, and a position for data abnormality display out of plural set positions provided in an error factor display means 6 is set to the abnormality display state. |
