STARTING SYSTEM FOR REMOTE SYSTEM DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable a computer to turn ON the power source of a peripheral equipment device through remote operation and recognize the starting of the peripheral equipment device connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:Each terminal device can access other devices through a LAN and a gateway. The terminal device remotely accesses the terminal computer 4 and sends out a start instruction to the peripheral equipment device 5. The start instruction request from the terminal computer 4 is sent to an actuation controller in the peripheral equipment device 5 and received by a data receiving circuit 11 and data information is developed. The developed data are sent to a data analyzing circuit 12 and compared with a set value. Then a start/stop indication signal is sent to a power source control circuit 13 to turns ON or OFF an auxiliary power source 52. A response to the start instruction request is sent to a data transmitting circuit 14 and sent back to the terminal computer 4. Consequently, the terminal computer 4 can confirm the connection state.
