<p>PURPOSE:To provide the beam compression processing method of an antenna pattern further improving the beam compression performance of the antenna pattern in a radar using a mono-pulse feed type antenna system. CONSTITUTION:In-phase radio waves are sent and scanned from two same mono-pulse feed type antennas 1, 1, and the received signals of two antennas 1, 1 receiving the reflected radio raves are inputted to a hybrid circuit 4 to form the sum signal SIGMA and difference signal DELTA. They are demodulated by a detecting circuit 5, and the difference signal 4 is subtracted from the sum signal SIGMAin a signal processing section 6. The subtracted output signal is outputted only when the reception pattern wave-form of the sum signal SIGMA is protruded upward and the reception pattern wave-form of the difference signal DELTA is protruded downward.</p> |
