PURPOSE:To provide a thermosensitive recording material with high heat resistance and heat responsiveness. CONSTITUTION:A polyester synthetic paper sheet with specific gravity 1.1 and MD thermal shrinkage 1.2% is coated with a suspension comprising minute empty particles (average particle size 2-10mum, porosity 90%) of non-foaming plastic, styrene-butadiene copolymer latex, and water, and the coated sheet is dried to form an under layer. A thermosensitive recording layer with a static coloring start temperature 120-150 deg.C is formed by applying on the under layer a dispersant comprising 3-diethylamino-7-(o-chloroanilino) fluorane, 4,4'-dihydroxy benzophenone, polyvinyl alcohol, calcium carbonate, and water and drying. The thermosensitive recording layer, after being coated with a protective layer, is calendered to form a thermosensitive recording layer. |
