The invention relates to a hollow body for concrete construction installation, comprising an accommodation space for electrical equipment such as light fittings, connection boxes, terminals or the like. Said hollow body has retaining means for fastening it on a shuttering. The invention makes provision for the hollow body to comprise a hollow-cylindrical rear part which is closed on one side. The front opening of said rear part can be closed by a front part. In this arrangement, one and the same rear part may be assigned a large number of different front parts. Of these front parts, use is made of one which is adapted to the conditions in hand, and it is connected to the rear part. The front part used in each case can be fastened on a concrete construction shuttering. In the case of the preferred embodiment of the invention, the rear part and front part have interacting latching cutouts and latches. The latter make it possible for the rear part and front part to move relative to one another even after they have been joined together. In the case of the preferred embodiment of the invention, provision is made for the rear part of the hollow body to have at least one connection stub for the releasable attachment of a connection housing. A transformer for the ceiling light fitting may preferably be introduced in said connection housing.
