The subject of the invention is a reinforcement member comprising a steel strip (10) which can be reeled up and intended to be incorporated in the concrete. The faces of the steel strip each comprise substantially straight ribs (12) arranged in at least one longitudinal row (R), these ribs being substantially parallel to each other and inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the strip. The ribs (12) of one of the faces of the strip are symmetrical with the ribs (12) of the other of the faces of the strip with respect to the mid-plane of the strip parallel to the faces of this strip. The subject of the invention is also a process and a device for manufacturing this reinforcement.
