PURPOSE:To prevent a disadvantage of timing lays of the generation of a single sound by providing signal sound control data for generating an effect of a single sound in the course of an array of continuous sound data arranged in a time division to be stored into a memory. CONSTITUTION:In a control circuit for generating an effect sound which comprises a CPU174, a buffer IC180. an address code circuit 25, a sound generator 173, a sound circuit 26, a speaker 34 and the like, the sound generator 173 is provided with a sequence controller 181. Data latched into a command register 182 are read out and a data specified among memory data in a data ROM 183 in which is stored effect sound data having single sound control data in the course of a continuous sound arranged in a time series is read out to output) data for generating effect sounds to an SSG (sound generator) sound source 184 and a PCM (single sound) sound source 185 thereby generating a single sound synchronizing a continuous sound. |
