<p>PURPOSE:To provide a production of a toner for developing electrostatic charge image, by which the toner having a desired volume average particle size and a sharp particle size distribution can be very simply produced. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition for the toner contg. at least a binding resin and a colorant is melted, kneaded and thereafter coarsely pulverized to obtain the toner raw material. The toner raw material is supplied to the mechanical pulverizer 20 by the toner raw material supply means 10 and finely pulverized by using the mechanical pulverizer 20 to obtain the objective toner particles. This production of the toner for developing electrostatic charge image including the pulverizing process features in that at the time of finely pulverizing the toner raw material, the load of the mechanical pulverizer 20 is detected at preset time-intervals and the supply of the toner raw material from the supply means 10 to the pulverizer 20 is increased or decreased so as to suppress the change of the load of the pulverizer 20 when the rate of change of the load exceeds a specified level.</p> |
