This invention concerns a filter cloth of elastomeric material for use in vibrating sifters, preferably fine sifters. Such filter cloths are arranged with pre- stressing in their filter and in order to provide the necessary tensile strength in the elastic elastomeric material without requiring the familiar vulcanised reinforcement, which significantly increases the cost of manufacture of this type of filter cloth, according to the invention the necessary reinforcement is baked into the elastomer material in the form of fibres oriented essentially parallel to the direction of stress. <IMAGE> |
