PRODUCTION OF MODIFIED POLYESTER FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a modified polyester fiber excellent in handle such as soft feeling, slime feeling and coolness and suitable for woven or knit fabric in lady clothing field, etc. CONSTITUTION:Polyesters are subjected to bicomponent spinning so that a a polyester containing 1-10wt.% (based on core component) of magnesium sulfate particles expressed by the formula MgSO4.nH2O [(n) is 0-3] and having >=15 maximum particle diameter and <=10mum average particle diameter is used as core component and a polyester not containing these particle is used as sheath component and the cross section ratio of the core component to the sheath component is (9/1) to (3/7).
