PURPOSE:To provide the commodity planning device for proposing automatically a new commodity, based on a data base in which the contents of a known commodity are recorded. CONSTITUTION:A commodity data base consisting of plural knowledge for expressing the contents of a known commodity, and a syntax analyzing part 3 for segmenting the knowledge in the commodity data base 1 to plural internal expressions are connected. To the syntax analyzing part 3, an area dividing part 5 for classifying the knowledge into plural areas having plural internal expressions is connected, and to the area dividing part 5, an analogy detecting part 8 for comparing a certain area and other area, and detecting an area containing a substitutable internal expression is connected. To the analogy detecting part 8, an analogical inference part 9 for substituting the substitutable internal expression in the detected area, and constructing new knowledge having a new constitution by the substituted internal expression, and other internal expression in the area to which the substituted internal expression belongs is connected. |
