Door locking handle assembly

A door locking handle assembly of the pull-out and side swinging lever-action type is disclosed. In the assembly, a handle (18) may be reliably and smoothly pulled out of and pushed into a front concave portion (3) of a casing (1). A push button (24) is pivoted to a front end of the handle (18) by means of a cross pivot (31), and has its intermediate portion (26) partially formed into a corrugated surface (28). A corrugated surface leaf spring (32) is fixed to a rear surface of the front end of the handle (18) to have its peak portion (32a) engage with a trough portion (28b) of the corrugated surface (28) of the push button (24) so that the push button (24) is held in its depressed position whereby a hook portion (29) thereof is held in its retracted position free from a receiving portion (5) of the casing (1), until the handle is protruding from the casing. The handle operates a bolt member 42.
