<p>PURPOSE:To make the structure of an air cleaner for removing particles contained in the air simple. CONSTITUTION:A runner 31 mounted on a rotating shaft 30a of an electric motor 30 disposed in an upper side room K1 of a cylindrical main body 20. First and second cylindrical filter components are mounted on the rotating shaft of the electric motor in an inner side chamber K2 on the lower side of the main body. An air induction runner 41 is provided in an outer chamber K3 on the lower side of the main body and a filter plate 42 is installed on the lower side of the runner. The runner 31 is rotated by the drive of the electric motor to supply the air from an air inflow cylinder 22 disposed on a main body side wall, and large size particles are removed by the filter plate and the first and second filter components. A dust collector 60 composed of first metal electrode plates with a number of pores and second electrode plates composed of metal plates laminated alternately through insulated spacers is inserted vertically in a main body 50 connected with the side walls of a main body 20 through an air flowing cylinder C. Smoky particles are removed by the dust collector.</p> |
