PURPOSE:To obtain an insecticidal composition composed of a combination of a specific hydrazine compound with various kinds of benzoylphenylurea compounds, exhibiting additive and synergistic insecticidal effect which cannot be attained by the separate use of both components and satisfiable from the viewpoint of toxicity. CONSTITUTION:The insecticidal composition contains (A) a hydrazine compound of formula I [A and B are O, S, group of formula II, formula III CO, formula IV or NR' (R is H, alkyl or alkoxy; R' is H, alkyl, acyl, etc.); R1 to R4 are H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, etc.; R5 to R7 are H, halogen, alkyl, nitro, amino, etc.; R8 to R10 are H, halogen, alkyl, formyl, etc.; R11 is H, cyano, acyl, etc.; R12 is alkyl; (n) is 0 or 1] and (B) a benzoylphenylurea compound. The amount of the benzoylphenylurea compound is 0.2-5 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the compound of formula. For example, the composition is a combination of N-(5- methyl-1,4-benzodioxane-6-carbo)-N'-t-butyl-N'-(3, 5-dimethylbenzoyl)hydrazine with chlorfluazuron. |
