PURPOSE:To eliminate labor for fine adjusting a position and an attitude of mounting the second clamping piece in a fixed side while surely clamping a wire in a workpiece clamping device arranged in a transfer feed route of the wire for wire bonding. CONSTITUTION:An axial line along a direction of moving a wire 8 is interposed, to arrange in one side a fixed supporter 20 and in the other side a turn clamp arm 21 swiveled far and near relating to a surface side of the fixed supporter 20, and the second clamping piece 23 for holding the wire 8 faced to the first clamping piece 22 in the turn clamp arm 21 is arranged in the surface side of the fixed supporter 20. Between a reverse surface of the second clamping piece 23 in the vicinity of a wire holding part and the surface side of the fixed supporter 20, a steel ball 26, brought into contact with the reverse surface of the second clamping piece 23 to swivelably support it, is interposed, and on the other hands, the second clamping piece 23 is connected to the fixed supporter 20 by elastically deformable soft rubber-made tubular connecting units 24. |
