<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an image display apparatus having constitution that ultraviolet cured substance is closely arranged between an image display panel and a protection board, wherein even when the protection board has a non-transmission area of ultraviolet rays, capable of obtaining sufficient curability in the ultraviolet hardened substance, and capable of reducing smell of residual monomers. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the image display apparatus provided with the image display panel, the protection board located on the viewing side of the image display panel and having the non-transmission area of ultraviolet rays on an outer peripheral part and the ultraviolet cured substance arranged between the image display panel and the protection board; a frame material of which the transmission factor of ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 365 nm is ≥1% is arranged between the image display panel and the protection board, a space formed by the image display panel, the protection board and the frame material is filled with an ultraviolet curing liquid substance, and the ultraviolet curing liquid substance is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from the viewing side of the protection board and the side face of the protection board to obtain ultraviolet cured substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
