PURPOSE:To provide an oxygen sensor comprising a cup type oxygen detecting element inserted with a heater in which assembling work of the rod heater and the element is facilitated and the structure for taking out an output from the internal electrode of the cell is simplified. CONSTITUTION:A notched first metal terminal 1 is constituted 1 is constituted of a tubular part having outer diameter shorter than the inner diameter of an element 3, and a lead part. A notched second metal terminal 2 is constituted of a first tubular part having inner diameter shorter than the outer diameter of a heater 4, and a second tubular part having outer diameter longer than the inner diameter of the first metal terminal 1. The first metal terminal 1 is inserted into the element 3 and then the second metal terminal 2 is inserted into the first metal terminal 1 with the heater 4 being held by the first tubular part. |
