PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for suitably managing the moving condition, etc., of a mobile object provided with prescribed identification information with a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:This method for managing a mobile object is constituted for a mobile object 1 such as a non-contact identifying object 2 to be moved with a user 51, for example. The identifying object 2 is mounted near the leg of the mobile object 1. A detecting part 3A of a sensor 3 for identification to provide identification information X is arranged on the front side of the mobile object 1 in a moving direction F. A detecting part 4A of a sensor 4 for passage to provide passage information Y by detecting only the passage of the mobile object 1 in non-contact is arranged on the deep side of the mobile object 1 in the moving direction F. The detecting part 3A of the sensor 3 for identification and the detecting part 4A of the sensor 4 for passage are arranged while providing a certain gap between them so that the passage information Y can be provided after the identification information X is provided. The mobile object is managed based on the identification information X and the passage information Y. |
