IGA PRODUCTION PROMOTER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To more easily obtain the subject promoter highly protecting living body from infections and blocking allergic reactions by stimulating IgA- productive sites such as Peyer's patch cells in host digestive tracts to promote IgA-production activity and thus to increase IgA production. CONSTITUTION:A microbial autolysate obtained by thermally insulating a Bifidobacterium viable cell suspension at pH6-12 and at 40-55 deg.C for one hour or longer exhibits IgA-inducing activity more potent than that of the original microbes, thus giving a useful IgA production promoter.
