<p>PURPOSE:To correctly identify and read a card and provide security properties and a forgery preventing function to the card by a method wherein an identification data recording layer of a conductive pattern is provided in the card, and the identification data recording layer is hidden in an externally invisible state. CONSTITUTION:An identification data recording layer 2 of a conductive pattern is provided in a card 1. The identification data recording layer 2 is hidden in an externally invisible state. For example, inside the structure of the card 1 made of an opaque resin 3, the identification data recording layer 2 (a data recording layer indicating individual information, common information, and the like to be recorded in the card) made of a conductive pattern 2a in parallel to the surface of the card 1 is provided. In this manner, the recorded conductive pattern is identified and read by an electromagnetic wave, and whether the card is a genuine card or a forged card is easily discriminated. In addition, the hiding of the identification data recording layer 2 provides security properties and a forgery preventing function to cards.</p> |
