PURPOSE:To judge the resin powder having the required grain size in use by coloring the flammable resin powder having the grain size within a specific range with a water soluble dye. CONSTITUTION:Flammable resin powder having the grain size of 30-800mum and a spherical or unspecified shape is colored with a water soluble dye. When the grain size is 30mum or below, the resin powder is buried in an adhesive, or the undercut becomes too small because the grain size is very fine. When the grain size is 800mum or above, the opaque layer becomes too thick, and it can not be used in view of color tone reproducibility. The water soluble dye of 0.001-10 pts.wt. and the resin powder of 0.1-100 pts.wt. are combined with water of 100 pts.wt. for coloring. When the water soluble dye is below 0.001 pts.wt., the color tone of the colored resin powder becomes too light, the color tone of a wax pattern transmits the resin powder, the discrimination property between the wax pattern and the resin powder is deteriorated. When the water soluble dye exceeds 10 pts.wt., the color tone of the colored resin powder becomes too deep, and the discrimination property with a wax pattern having dark color tone is deteriorated. When the resin powder exceeds 100 pts.wt., it can not be stirred at the time of coloring, and no uniform color tone is obtained. |
