PURPOSE:To play the electronic stringed instrument while securely controlling characteristics of a generated musical sound like a natural stringed instrument corresponding to the kind of an object of string playing operation without operating any special switch for musical sound characteristic indication, etc. CONSTITUTION:In response to string playing operation on a tensely extended string 4, a microcomputer instructs of start of generation of a musical sound and discriminates whether or not an object operating the string 4 is part A of the body of a player. Consequently, characteristics of the generated musical sound are controlled corresponding to the discrimination result. |
