<p>Quick coupling for coupling a tubular member to an end-fitting or a set of tubular members to end-fittings, particularly for joining the water pipes or hoses of the cooling circuit of a motor vehicle engine to the inlet and outlet end-fittings of a heat exchanger or unit heater of the said vehicle. It comprises an elastic locking ring (40) capable of being attached to the tubular members and cut so as to form at least one extensible part (45,46), the said ring (40) including, on its internal surface, radial bosses (52) which rest on the said tubular members in a first position in which the coupling is not joined, whereas they are moved, upon insertion of the said end-fittings into the tubular members, by abutment faces associated with the end-fittings so as to be brought into openings for the passage of the tubular members and of the grooves of the end-fittings. <IMAGE></p> |
