OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a new superconductor having a superconducting transition temperature Tc of >=77K and a simple composition system to be controlled and exerting little influence on human body in production. CONSTITUTION:The oxide superconductor composed of an alkaline earth metal M (M is at least one element selected from Ba, Sr and Ca), copper and oxygen. It has a crystal structure composed of alternately laminated rock salt structure part composed of two atomic layers containing <=1 oxygen atom per one M atom and infinite layer structure part containing alternately arranged atomic layers containing 2 oxygen atoms per one copper atom and atomic layers composed exclusively of M atom.
