PURPOSE:To obtain the software hand-off using a terminal equipment having a receiver system of one system in the spread spectrum communication system. CONSTITUTION:When quality of communication via a cell/spot beam 30 is deteriorated attended with a position change of a terminal equipment 29, an information signal modulated by using a common spread code and a common frequency is sent according to a predetermined transmission time offset via one cell/spot beam or over at least adjacent to the cell/spot beam 30 such as cell/spot beams 33, 34. Thus, diversity reception 4, 5, 6 by receivers of one system are attained in a terminal equipment 29. Furthermore, since one spread code is required for software hand-off of one terminal equipment, the spread code is used effectively. |
