PROCESS FOR REGENERATING THE COCONUT PALM FROM EXPLANTS, AND PLANTS OBTAINED BY SUCH PROCESS

Process for regenerating the coconut palm from explants comprising the following steps: induction of the formation of callus from explants; induction of the embryogenesis on the callus; formation of embryonic structures; maturation of embryos; caulogenesis; rhizogenesis. The maturation of embryos is effected by pricking out said structures in a medium free from activated carbon and auxine, and comprising at least one cytokinine.
