Safety porthole for fitting into a door (3) having an opening previously formed therein. The one-way porthole affords a view outwards but not inwards. It enables persons on either side of the door to view each other through armoured glass (9) after moving an element. Finally, the porthole can be fully disengaged, so that objects can be handed over. Application to building fittings. |
