PURPOSE:To obtain a flux detergent which is excellent in dissolution of a flux remaining in minute recessions in a substrate, rinsability with water, etc., and has no fear of causing environmental pollution by incorporating a specific hydrocarbon, specific glycol ethers, and a specific surfactant as the essential ingredients in given amounts. CONSTITUTION:The flux detergent contains as the essential components 30-50wt.% 9-18C aliphatic or alicyclic hydrocarbon having a distillation range of 150-300 deg.C (e.g. Exsol D110, manufactured by Exxon Chemical Co.), 30-50wt.% glycol ether represented by formula I (wherein R<1> is a 6-22C alkyl or alkenyl or a phenyl substituted by a 6-12C alkyl; R<2> is H or CH3; and n is 2 or 3), 1-10wt.% glycol ether represented by formula II (wherein R<3> and R<5> each is 1-5C alkyl; R<4> is H or CH3; and m is 2 or 3), and 1-15wt.% nonionic surfactant (e.g. polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether). |
