<p>PURPOSE: To improve the appearance of a connecting part by forming the combining part of a plurality of metal sheets so as not to stick out of the outer surface of the sheet. CONSTITUTION: A method for joining superposed metal sheets 10, 12 and its tool set are disclosed. In a first step, a ring shaped hollow space 28 is preferably formed by deforming at least one metal sheet 10. Successively, a material of all metal sheets 10, 12 is squeezed within the confines of the hollow space 28, whereby the material flows laterally into the hollow space 28 to produce a combining part.</p> |
