<p>PURPOSE: To realize automated operation in a Chub machine that forms tubular packages that are gathered and clipped at both ends by constructing with provision of a product delivery pump, a film feeding unit, clip head mechanism and others respectively controlled with servo mechanisms. CONSTITUTION: This Chub machine 5 forms a web 14 of packaging film drawn out from a film arbor 6 into a cylinder by means of a film former 15, followed by forming as a tube enclosing a mandrel 7. Then overlapped side edges of the web 14 are welded with a heat sealer 8, followed by filling the tube with product from a product delivery pump 9. Then region that the product was delivered is formed for every constant interval by action of a voider 11, and to the said region, a clip head assembly 12 gives a pair of clips, which are severed with a knife between a pair of clips. Servomechanisms 20 through 22 connected to a microprocessor 23 have controlled each of above-mentioned movable parts.</p> |
