PROCESS FOR PRODUCING POLYESTER FILM HAVING LOW OLIGOMER CONTENT

This relates to the manufacturing of a polyester film which contains less oligomer and has good mechanical and electric properties. The manufacturing method comprises: A) extracting oligomer in organic solvent before axial elongation after casting in the condition of bp-40<=T<=bp-15 and log t=(T/u) X K; B) drying in high temp. air before elongation in the condition of 0.6<=-log A<1486 and 1.40<=log R<=2.5. In formula 4<=K<=10; T is solvent temp.; A=T/u; and R=T/t.
