PURPOSE: To prevent an oscillator from becoming a stable state by preventing the deterioration in the high-frequency characteristic of the oscillator, due to the increase of the fixed delay of a feedback path by means of a start circuit. CONSTITUTION: A high-frequency voltage-controlled oscillator 10 is provided with a start circuit 14 and the circuit 14 prevents the oscillator 10 from becoming a stable state, without increasing the fixed delay of the feedback path of the oscillator 10. A sleep mode s1 saves the power consumption of the oscillator by shutting down the oscillator 10, and a capacitor separates the oscillator 10 from high-frequency noise coupled from an power input Vcc. |
