PURPOSE:To cook delicions rice crisp and fresh by boiling rice and water put in a rice cooking container, and baking the container after or during steaming. CONSTITUTION:A rice cooking container 1 comprises a container main body 2 and a lid 3. The method of cooking rice includes putting rice and water in the container main body 2, closing the lid 3, and heating the rice cooking container 1 over a high flame for boiling; next, heating the rice cooking container 1 over a low flame, steaming the inside of the container, and heating the rice cooking container 1 at the final stage of boiling to bake the container. After the inside of the rice cooking container 1 is steamed by leaving or preheating the rice cooking container 1, the rice cooking container 1 is heated for baking the container. This baking process is carried out after or during the steaming process so as to evaporate returning water generated in the rice cooking container 1 by the steaming process, and while the rice is steamed the steam is released outside, whereby rice can be cooked crisp and very delicious. |
