PURPOSE:To provide a multimedia communication terminal which can arrange the describing direction of image information corresponding to the picture of a display device or can display the image information in the easy reading describing direction by switching and displaying the describing direction of the image information longitudinally or laterally in common for respective terminals connected to a communication network. CONSTITUTION:When the image information of 'A' is displayed at display part 11 installed in a laterally long direction, for example, the describing direction of the image information 'A' displayed at the display part 11 is switched and displayed longitudinally or laterally by designating a prescribed menu icon 16. When the switching display of the image information is performed at any one of plural terminals connected to the prescribed communication network, this display switching is informed to the other terminals, and the display switching of the image information is also performed at the other terminals in common. |
