PURPOSE:To provide a shaft device which is designed to provide a maximum limit effect of pressure fluid, in a work to press in and pull out a cylinder body and a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A groove 101 through which pressure fluid is introduced in a fitted-in part between a cylinder body 31 and a shaft 32. An average inclination angle of the axial section of the groove 101 with a fitting-in surface is set such that the inclination angle on the side where a fitting-in surface pressure is high is increased to a value higher than that on the side where it is low. This constitution causes extremely smooth press-in and pull-out of the shaft 32 in and from the cylinder body 31, provision of an increased life for the shaft 32, and reduction of a press volume used for a press-in and pull-out work. |
