PURPOSE:To improve the commodity value by imparting a shape retentivity to a pillow packaging bag without using a tray. CONSTITUTION:On a band-shaped film 24, four stripes which are separated in the width direction are provided in parallel with the feeding direction. A pair of labels 22, 22 are affixed respectively between the paired two stripes on the band-shaped film 24. The band-shaped film 24 is formed into a square cylindrical shape with the four stripes as references, and at the same time, the overlapped end edges in the longitudinal direction are longitudinally sealed. Gusset foldings are applied at the front and rear sides of a location on the cylindrical film 26, where an object to be packaged 18 is put in-between. A lateral sealing is applied in the direction which crosses with the film feeding direction at the areas where the gusset foldings are applied on the cylindrical film 26.
