PURPOSE:To prevent the feeling of incongruity of the sound quality of pickup sound by maintaining a high sound SN ratio even in the state when the wind is blowing. CONSTITUTION:HPF 3 and 4 respectively remove low frequency components from the outputs of non-directional microphones 1 and 2 and a subtracter 6 subtracts the output of HPF 4 deleyed in accordance with the interval of the microphones by delaying device 5 with the output of HPF 3. LPF 7 and 8 respectively remove the high frequency components of the non-directional microphones 1 and 2 and an adder 9 adds the outputs of LPF 7 and 8. An attenuater 10 atteuates the output of the adder 9 and an adder 11 adds the outputs of the attenuater 10 and the subtracer 6. Thus, in a low frequency band the adder 9 adds the outputs of the two non-directional microphones 1 and 2 so as to reduce the influence of the wind and at the same time in a high frequency band, the device operates as the single directional microphones 1 and 2 of a first order pressure-gradient type composed of the two-non-directional microphones 1 and 2 and the delay device 5 to store the sound from a desired sound source with a high sound-collection SN ratio.
