The glass has two pairs of bars (1) fitted to its sides. The bars have grooves whose gap (5) is less than 5mm so that the edge (6) of 5mm thick glass is forced slightly into it. The outer surface of the bars can be flat or curved and it can have decoration in relief which can be coloured. The back surface of the bars can be flat or curved and it has notches (3) in which the fixing hooks (4) of the glass fit. The bars can be made in metal, synthetic material or wood.
