Apparatus (10) for painting an object (30) includes a holder (18), a paint reservoir (15), and a paint distribution device (20) such as a sphere. To paint the object (30), the object (30) is first fixed to the holder (18). Next, paint (16) is placed in the paint reservoir (15) located either on or adjacent to the surface of the object (30). The holder (18) is then tilted in a manner sufficient to cause the paint distribution device (20) to roll through the paint (16) and across the object (30), leaving paint along the travel path (35) of the paint distribution device (20). |
