<p>An I.S. machine has a gob feeder, independent individual sections with respective controllers having a repetitive sequencer performing in timed relation to synchronisation signals, a gob distributor and a gob distributor controller having a repetitive sequencer performing in timed relation to synchronisation signals. The section controllers and the gob distributor controller are synchronised, for operation in timed relation to the same synchronisation signals, by a system which includes a once-per-cut signal generator, a divide-by-N circuit (N = number of sections to receive gobs), an N defining device, a device for applying N to the divide-by-N circuit, a device for supplying the once-per-cut signal to the divide-by-N circuit so that an output synchronisation signal will be output for each Nth once-per-cut signal,and a device for distributing the output synchronisation signals to each of the section and gob distributor controllers.</p> |
