PURPOSE:To provide a coat type ink jet recording sheet having a high image reproducibility wherein undulution of a sheet surface before printing and after printing does not occur, ink absorption is excellent, and ink oozing in a piled up color part is little. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording sheet wherein at least one ink acceptive layer is provided onto a base material having wood pulp and pigment as main components, the base material is processed by calender treatment with a calender apparatus composed of a metal roll and the metal roll, and a density ratio (Dc/Dt) of density (Dc) of a central part in a base material thickness direction to density (Dt) of the base material is 0.35-0.95. |
