<p>A power supply device comprises an emergency power cut-off switch (10-0), a basic power supply unit (12-0) supplied with an external alternating current electric power through said emergency power cut-off switch (10-0) and a plurality of expansion power supply units (12-1,...,12-n) supplied respectively with external alternating current electric power through power supply switches (10-1,...10-n) and provided sequentially and externally to said basic power supply unit (12-0).
