METHOD AND APPRATUS FOR TRANSMITTING DATA IN MULTIPLE ANTENNA SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting data in a multiple antenna system are provided to transmit multiple codeword maintaining a single transmitting-wave characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A modulation mapper modulates codeword into modulation symbols which indicates the location of a signal constellation. A layer permutator maps the modulation symbols on different layers, respectively. A converting pre-coder discrete-Fourier-transform(DFT)s the mapped modulation symbols in order to generate the DFT symbol in a frequency region. A resource mapper maps the DFT symbol on a resource. A signal generator generates a single carrier-frequency division multiple access in a time region using the mapped DFT symbol. The modulation order of the modulation symbols is determined according to the mapped layer by the layer permutator.
