<p>High power self-controlled multi-phase synchronous machine consisting of a movable magnetized rotor rotating in relation to a coaxial stator part (99) comprising electric coils for energizing stator magnetic circuits. The machine also consists of the power supply means comprising means for switching the current in the stator phases as a function of the position. Each of the coils consists of four identical independent wound elements, the power supply means including cycloconvertors which supply the four wound elements in a connection mode determined as a function of the speed of rotation and/or current in the motor selected among three possible connection modes. The first connection mode corresponds to a connection of intermediate elements in parallel with four wound elements forming a coil, the second connection mode corresponding to a connection of intermediate elements wound two by two in parallel, both pairs of elements so formed being connected in series, and the third connection mode corresponding to a connection in series of the intermediate wound elements.</p> |
